Medical Emergencies can happen at any time, and it's crucial to be prepared to respond effectively. In this course, participants will learn how to quickly respond to anyone in need of medical attention. They will be trained on the protocols and procedures for handling medical emergencies in a responsible and efficient manner. 

The course will cover various aspects of medical emergency response, including awareness, considerations, and response. Participants will learn how to identify potential medical issues among the congregation, understand when to call 911, locate and use AEDs and first aid kits, coordinate with medical professionals, provide crowd control, ensure patient privacy, and deal with infants and children in medical emergencies. 

Additionally, the course emphasizes the significance of proper training and certification and the importance of completing and incident report and conducting after-action reviews to continuously improve the response process. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to confidently respond to medical emergencies, potentially saving lives and protecting your ministry from costly settlements and negative publicity. 

In this course, we will examine the liability issues that can arise in a ministry setting and how each person can play a vital role in mitigating these risks. Participants will learn to constantly look for potential problem areas, avoid complacency, and take responsibility for addressing any issues they encounter. 

The course covers five key areas of liability: lawsuits, slips and falls, misappropriation of funds, release of personal information, and child abuse/sexual misconduct. Participants will learn about the common reasons churches are sued and the importance of consistent policies, oversight, and planning to avoid leaving the ministry vulnerable to lawsuits.  

This course will equip the participants with the knowledge and skills to proactively mitigate liability risks and protect the ministry from potential lawsuits, financial losses, and reputational damage. 

This course is designed to prepare participants to effectively handle disruptive incidents such as protests, demonstrations, domestic violence situations, and fights that may occur during public services or events. Participants will learn how to recognize signs of potential disruptions, develop protocols for handling such incidents, and respond in a calm, assertive, and professional manner. 

The course covers topics such as understanding the different types of disruptions that can occur, dealing with protestors or demonstrators inside or outside of the building, maintaining a positive image of the church during disruptions, understanding the use of force policy, and handling domestic violence situations with care and sensitivity.  

In addition, the course emphasizes the importance of maintaining professionalism, avoiding emotional involvement, and following established protocols in handling disruptive incidents. Participants will also learn about resources available for domestic violence victims and the potential risks of domestic violence incidents leading to church shootings. The course provides practical training and guidance for ministry leaders and their Action Team members to effectively handle acts of violence and maintain a safe environment for their congregation. 

This course emphasizes the importance of being prepared for an active shooter event and provides practical strategies for identifying behavior commonly associated with active shooters as well as the subsequent response. 

Through a combination of theory and practical training participants will learn the importance of early detection and prevention, and provides guidance on how to establish a clear and unified response plan. Practical techniques for managing the situation, providing aid to victims, and coordinating efforts with others will also be covered. 

The goal of this course is to empower participants to be proactive and prepared in the face of an active shooter incident. By understanding the threat, identifying potential risks, and developing effective response strategies, participants will be equipped to take decisive action and potentially save lives in a high-stress situation. 

The Mental Health and De-escalation training is designed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge for effectively assisting individuals in mental health crises with compassion and safety as priorities. The course emphasizes the significance of ensuring safety, employing de-escalation strategies, demonstrating empathy, assessing needs, and maintaining confidentiality.

Throughout the program, attendees will learn to identify indicators of a mental health crisis, approach distressed individuals calmly and respectfully, and employ de-escalation techniques to mitigate potentially volatile situations. Additionally, the training emphasizes active listening, validation, and providing non-judgmental support.

By fostering a supportive and empathetic environment, participants will gain the confidence to manage mental health crises within their church community while upholding the well-being of everyone involved.
